The American-type (worm-drive) hose clamp in stainless steel, for securing low-pressure LPG hose onto a regulator spigot or appliance inlet. Stainless steel is specified rather than zinc-plated mild steel because the clamp sits in a warm, sometimes humid environment and a corroded clamp is both a leak risk and difficult to remove for hose replacement.
