Product Overview

The GLR-UNI solves a very practical distribution problem: across West and East Africa, cylinder valve diameters vary between markets and even between filling plants in the same country. A hard collar accepts 20 mm, 21 mm, 22 mm and 27 mm valve necks, so a distributor can carry a single regulator SKU instead of four.

A pressure gauge is fitted as standard so the user can see cylinder content, and the retaining clip is spring steel rather than pressed mild steel for a longer service life in the field.

Will the universal regulator fit my existing cylinders?
The GLR-UNI accepts 20 mm, 21 mm, 22 mm and 27 mm valve necks, which covers the overwhelming majority of steel LPG cylinders in Africa and South Asia. It is not suitable for CGA 600 camping valves or for screw-threaded (POL) valves, which need a different regulator type.
